DC++ Filesharing

I figured that I would explain the concepts and logic behind the file-sharing program called DC++ which is used on many college campuses at the present time due to filters that have been enforced by college authorities. Unlike Lime wire, Kazaa, Bear share, or even Torrenting for that matter, DC++ runs on separate closed end servers that one can access for file sharing. Think of it as choosing a door to go into to see a room with stuff you can use, instead of going into a huge convention center with stuff littered all over the place that you can get. The reason why many college students chose to use DC++ is because of that point exactly. You are able to share on a closed end system that only the students have access to. Also a heads up, DC++ does not work on Mac! Sorry Mac users. Don’t worry though you’ll get some treats later on. Also, out of most forms of file-sharing, DC++ is completely legal. But of course there are people out there who upload pirated items… But hey what can ya do?
